Dr. Ripp discussed the 10 Tips For A Better Interview, which I thought were very important to new teachers. This blog stressed points I never thought would be a part of an interview. After reading the post every point listed are very important and all new teachers need to visit this blog. We thing we know everything but it is always good to research anything you want to achieve to be better prepared. I thought tip #2 Be Relevant was a surprise to me. This meant to take artifacts to the interview, such as some piece3 of history of the school or a school mascot. This will le administrators of the school know you did your homework.

We Say It Is All About The Kids
All teachers express this daily. I do it for the kids or it is all about the kids. This comes out of our mouth and soon as we get in the classroom we go to yelling and issuing harsh punishment. You praise the kids with one breath and the same instance we bring fear to the classroom. If we're in it for the kids we need to act like it. We should listen to the kids and incorporate ways to get student involvement in the entire educational process.
Mrs. Ripp is a great person and has valuable information in her blogs. OI have learned a lot from the blogs and will continue to reach out to her blogs for knowledge.
